1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon mirin

Salt to taste

*Seasoning B

5 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons mirin

2 tablespoons sugar

½ cup water

1.  Drain tofu well.

2.  In a bowl, combine green onions, potato starch and Seasoning A, and mix well.  Add ground pork and mix well again.  Divide into eight equal portions.

3.  Cut each green bell pepper in half lengthwise, remove seeds and caps, coat inside of the bell peppers with potato starch (quantity not included in the ingredients above), and stuff them with meat filling.

4.  Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat, place stuffed bell peppers in the pan with the meat filling side down and cook until brown, then flip over and cook the other side.

5.  Take stuffed bell peppers out of the pan and set aside.  Clean the pan with paper towel and add in Seasoning B and simmer.  Return stuffed bell peppers into the pan and cook thoroughly while dressing with the sauce.
